the clan gets power from each of us. you give 1 clan power for every 8 levels and then 1 clan power for each rank you have from the queens court. the most is 13 from ranking up. so go out there and rank up.

Okay next question. Does sleeping in the tavern in a suite prevent rust? Or is the only way to prevent rust is by using oils?

Rust can be prevented by oiling, and the Queen's Blessing.
First blessing prevents anything you have equipped from rusting. (So if you had a 210a SAC and you were using a 126a SAC, and you only had the first blessing, the 210 would rust without oils.) Greater Blessing protects your entire pack. (But not storage.)
Using a suite, decreases the % of rust slightly. (And givess other benefits, like increased chance of waking up feeling like a million marks, and decreasing chances of waking up late and such.)
I think that about covers it.
